Hear everything.
Most earbuds try to seal you off from civilization. These don’t. The open-ear design sits just outside your ear canal, letting you listen to music, podcasts, or calls while still hearing traffic, coworkers, flight announcements, or whatever else reality has decided to chuck into the ambient stew of background noise that passes for the soundtrack to your life.
The over-ear hooks keep them secure, which makes them especially useful for walks, light workouts, yard work, or pretending you’re listening during a meeting. Because they’re wireless, there’s no cord bouncing around your neck, and the charging case keeps everything together when you toss them in a bag.
At $12, this is very much a value play. You’re not buying studio monitors. You’re buying affordable, situationally aware audio that won’t make you panic if one slips under an airplane seat, somehow never to be seen again. (You will be bummed, though.)
